Ra

 We kept hearing about this game, and finally added it to our collection, it's a good game. It's an auction game which I usually don't like, but there's some kewl twists to Ra that make it fun!

 Always feels so good to complete and put the pages into the album from the ring binder.

 Had a full day of adventure, but we started at the farmers market.

 Lovely dinner out with Geo and Katie face to the Keg. So much good food, steak, lobster, and for dessert sticky toffee pudding!

Book folding

 I gave Katie a "K"folded book as a gift and then showed her how to do it. Within an hour we were in the car getting a book for her to try :-)

 Wow! Teresa Brought me some crabapples and omg!!! They are so good, they taste like Gala apples!!! I wish you could smell them too they smell so yummy!!! 

Hard work paid off

 I've been hunting for days for a specific paper pack, nightmare before Valentine's Day - perfect for these pictures. I finally found it, it took awhile but I got so much organized while looking!

 Well it's a surprise I made for Maddie, so I can't show you yet lol mailed today she should get it soon :-) muahahaha

The oven is back!

 In March our oven died, actually dangerously, lucky we don't don't have a fire. The stovetop worked but no oven.... Until today. A guy came out and fixed it within the hour, yay! I sent dean to the grocery store with a list  for chicken parmesan. I have been craving it for a awhile!!

Today I had an eye appointment, and that's always fun because I get to see Carolyn, after an eye mask and drops so I can read with my damn dry eyes we got to go for a quick lunch :-) 

 

Moving stuff around

 Every now and then I can't find an item I'm looking for, in this case a very kewl paper pack needed for a specific scrapbook page layout. And so, when I can't find something it often triggers a sorting and reorganizing frenzy. This  day was spent doing just that. On a side note, the paper is still absent! Maybe tomorrow will mean sorting part two!

Books between friends

 Quick stop to my favorite bookstore. Found some Lisa Jackson and Diane Mott Davidson and then a few books for class to turn into book folded letters :-) I would never tell the lovely man that runs the store what I do with those! 

Game night

 Love our game group Patrick and Teresa, Ryne, Drew and Sarah, Melissa, Clair, Paul and Cathy. Played a few new games tonight, Wine Cellar, river valley glass works and century Spice. Fun night, as always

Played a new game tonight, Skyport, puzzlely little game, LOVE IT, and it's quick too so we can play a couple at a time! 

 

Dexter

 Finally the wait is over - time to watch Dexter resurrection. So so happy they didn't end the series with Dexter dead!!!

 Fun night at Teresa and Patrick's playing thunder road vendetta- Teresa won and then finishing off with a nice relaxing fishing game Wharf side 

Spaghetti squash

 OMGosh, Cindy gave us all a spaghetti squash yesterday and we made it tonight. So good!! Cut in half, remove seeds, sprinkle olive oil, salt and pepper. Turn upside down on a baking sheet , 400 for 45 minutes. Grab a fork and eat!!! 

Indian Hill

 What an amazing weekend, great people, yummy food, perfect weekend, Kerri-Ann, Robin, me, Wendi, Jocelyne, and the host Cindy.

Five star food

 I cannot believe the food that Cindy serves at the retreat! I feel like we are at a five star restaurant. The presentation, the served plates in the dining room ABSOLUTELY fantastic!! 

Jed the donkey

 

Met the farm animals today, Jed the donkey, Drew the dog and all kinds of chickens, peacocks, ducks, cows and two adorable kitties! 

Pincher Creek

 

I've always heard how great these crops were and have never been able to go, small groups big wait list. Turns out two friends of mine were going and someone they knew couldn't make it. I got to take her place. Arrived close to 5pm after shortening make and take today. The farmhouse is beautiful! The food is amazing, we had lasagne!! I think I'm going to love it here and will have to get invited again! 

Afternoon class

 Had a few guests today instead of Thursday, Rosie, Teresa, Brenda, Patricia, and Rebecca. After make and Take, Lori taught a little ATC holder class. Fun day.

Day 1 second attempt

 Saw this fun idea and when looking back realized I had only gone 4 days before I failed. So we're going to try this again.

Reading a Diane Mott Davidson novel. Cozy stories, it's about a caterer who always seems to be where the murders are. She's always cooking and includes her recipes in the books. Makes me hungry tho!
